Love this place! My son is currently taking classes with Alex and Richard and I truly can’t say enough great things about them. My son is happy, he’s making major improvements, and he actually looks forward to going. Two thumbs up.

I highly recommend FINS of The Woodlands. My children have made great progress through this program. Previously, we tried two other swim programs and made little to no progress. This was a completely different story. The instructors are patient, give clear instructions and make the learning experience fun for the kids.

As this time of the year is the time to express appreciation and gratitude, I’m writing with my thanks to the FINS team. My son has been swimming with them for years and it has been nothing but a wonderful experience. The team is very accommodating, the instruction is highly professional, the support is constant. THANK YOU, FINS!

Love the experience here!! I can proudly say that 3 of my children that go to FINS will be well trained to join a swim team. That’s what makes it a great place to be. The joy of comfortably knowing your kids are safe in the pool is another. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my child is nervous about the water?

Many children take time to adjust to the pool. Patient instruction and parent participation help infants and toddlers become more relaxed in the pool over time.

What should infants wear during swim lessons?

Infants who are not reliably potty trained should wear a disposable swim diaper with a snug, lined, non-disposable swim diaper over it.

How often should infants or toddlers take swim lessons?

Many families start with one lesson per week so children can gradually build familiarity with the water. Consistency helps reinforce comfort and early safety habits.

Do swim lessons help toddlers become more comfortable in water?

Yes. Structured lessons introduce water gradually and allow children to explore the pool in a guided, supportive environment.

Can toddlers learn basic safety skills in swim lessons?

Early lessons often introduce simple safety habits, such as floating with support and safer pool entry. These skills help children develop awareness of water.
