At FINS, kids swim, play, and celebrate while certified lifeguards and a dedicated party coordinator handle the rest.
What’s Included in Your Birthday Pool Party
FINS Birthday Pool Parties are 2-hour private events that include:
- 1 hour and 15 minutes of pool time
- 45 minutes in the party room for food, cake, and gifts
- Organized games and approved flotation devices
- One party coordinator
- Two certified lifeguards
- One 8-ft table, plus an extra table for more than 10 guests
Families may exchange 15 minutes of party room time for extra pool time when available.
Booking Policies

Payment
- $375 deposit due at booking. Non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Final payment due 10 days before the party
Guest Count
- Base price covers up to 10 swimmers (max 30)
- Additional swimmers: $19 each
- Groups over 20 require an extra lifeguard: $75
- All swimmers must complete a waiver before entering the pool
Late Fees
- Late booking: $25 if booked fewer than 14 days out Late lifeguard add-on: $25 extra if added within 10 days
Cancellations
- FINS cancels: reschedule or full refund
- Customer cancels: deposit is non-refundable
Party Day Details
Here are some important details to make sure the party day goes smoothly for everyone.
Setup & Cleanup
- Setup begins 15 minutes before the party
- Cleanup starts during the last 5 minutes
- Guests should exit within 5 minutes after the party ends
- The party coordinator helps with setup, guest flow, food, cake, and cleanup
Safety Rules
- No diving, running, or horseplay on the pool deck
- No glass, alcohol, smoking, gum, or pets (service animals permitted)
- Keep food and drinks in the party room
- Non-swimmers need a FINS-approved US Coast Guard (USCG) flotation device and adult supervision
- A FINS team member will conduct a swim test for all participants who are not wearing a life vest
- Children who are not potty-trained need disposable and reusable swim diapers
- Health Policy: If a child vomits or has a fecal accident in the pool, FINS will follow sanitation protocols. If another pool is available, the party may continue there
Add-Ons
- Extra pool time: $100 per 15 minutes, if available
- Lifeguard game assistance may be requested
- Guest-provided pool toys or flotation devices may be allowed with approval
Decorations
- Weighted balloons and table displays are welcome
- No wall tape, confetti, or glitter
